This study provides a potential new target for the treatment of breast cancer, and perhaps other cancers. However, significantly more research will be required before we know if statins or related new treatments can be used as treatments for breast or other cancers.

Were you aware that Statins are derived from the fungus that makes Red Yeast Rice, a naturally fermented product from Asian cuisine? And that to protect the pharma companies' billions in profit, you can't sell the item in the USA?

I thought I'd read not too long ago that statins were linked to an increase in certain cancera. There's a link above that statins may increase risk of diabetes.. so which is it? what's true. More junk science most likely.

    wow interesting but I read somewhere that statins also cause impotency in men.

    any meds that interferes with cholestrol can have a +ve effect but again not everyone should be taking statins.

    On a side note, many anti-depressants have ED as a side effect, which is...depressing.
